Midtown Super-Shelters Opening Wednesday, June 18

The Midtown Transfer Hub shelters at the top-of-the-hill stops are opening Wednesday, June 18 after construction began earlier this year. The larger “super-shelter” structures that offer riders digital wayside signage, more seating and roofing coverage, and enhanced lighting. The stops, are Stop 10150 Stop 1 (the stop closest to the back side of the Cheddars Restaurant, on the north side of Midtown Avenue), which serves Routes 3 Baptist Medical Center Outbound, Route 5 West Markham Outbound, 8 Rodney Parham Outbound, 8 Rodney Parham Inbound, 22 University Ave./Mabelvale Northbound and 22 University Ave./Mabelvale Southbound, as well as Stop 10192 Stop 2 (the stop closest to the Doctors Building, on the south side of Midtown Avenue), which serves Routes 3 Baptist Medical Center Inbound and Route 5 West Markham Inbound.
