Streetcar Maps & Schedules

METRO Streetcar Service Resumes for North Little Rock Stops Tuesday, June 1, 2021.

One stop in Little Rock will go back into service in Little Rock on Wednesday, June 9, and that is the stop at Scott Street & Markham Street at the base of the Main Street Bridge in Little Rock, right in front of the Little Rock Regional Chamber. Once passengers have alighted at the stop, the streetcar will continue back across the bridge to North Little Rock, as all other Little Rock stops are out of service at this time.

The METRO Streetcar system Little Rock stops will not be in operation until approximately July 1, 2021 to accommodate 30 Crossing construction. The three Little Rock stops leading to the Clinton Center and Heifer International headquarters, Stops 20008 River Market Avenue & 3rd Street, 12519 World Avenue & 3rd Street and 20010 3rd Street & River Market Avenue, will be removed from service until approximately December 2024 to accommodate I-30 construction.

Face masks deemed effective by the CDC are required on METRO Streetcars as part of METRO’s requirements and the federal mask mandate currently in effect through Sept. 13, 2021.

How to Ride METRO Streetcar

The fare-free METRO Streetcar operates throughout the Little Rock and North Little Rock downtown areas seven days a week, except for New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Boarding is only allowed at the designated stop locations, found on the streetcar map.) The streetcar is a fun and inexpensive way to take in the downtown sights of central Arkansas’ “twin cities,” and get to downtown destinations and events without parking hassles. Download the free METROtrack mobile app to find out how many minutes away the next streetcar is from any stop in the system and to check for any active streetcar service alerts before every trip.

Is Your Printed Streetcar Brochure Map and Schedule Current?

Printed system maps and schedules are only useful if they reflect the current routes and schedules. Are you living in the past? Make sure your streetcar brochure carries the code 0621 on the front (the current streetcar brochure code) to determine whether it needs to be replaced!
