The METRO Links paratransit service is undergoing a software transition on Tuesday, Nov. 18. A related policy change that will begin on this day is the reduction of the number of days in advance of a trip that the trip may be booked, reducing the number of advance booking days from seven days to three days to reduce the number of trip cancellations and no-shows for more efficient service. The software transition also debuts a new paratransit ride-booking and ride-cancellation app, the METRO Links app, which will debut on a To Be Determined date after the Nov. 18 software transition date. Although the METRO Links app is currently available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store and riders may download the app to their mobile devices, the app will not be activated for use by paratransit riders until the announced launch date, To Be Determined. This will allow the METRO team time to test the app before activating it. The METRO team is excited to debut this app and looks forward to working with our paratransit riders to bring this long-requested amenity to the METRO Links paratransit service!
