Rock Region METRO Promotes Ditch the Keys Week with Fare-Free Day May 25

Rock Region METRO is once again participating in Metroplan’s annual Ditch the Keys Week, promoting alternate transportation (walking, cycling, carpooling, using public transit and even telecommuting) to help reduce vehicle exhaust pollutants. Ditch the Keys Week is part of the Ozone Action Days public awareness campaign regarding the harmful effects of ground-level ozone. As part of the weeklong observance, Rock Region METRO will host a fare-free day Wednesday, May 25 for Ride the Bus to Work and School Day.
