Marquita FosterMeet Marquita Foster, METRO service supervisor. Foster joined the METRO team in February 2020 as a METRO Links paratransit operator before transitioning to her current position as service supervisor, where she assists METRO operators, drivers and helps connect customers to their preferred mode of public transit.

A native of Little Rock, Foster says her favorite thing about working for METRO is being able to serve the public.

“I love getting to hear rider testimonials, the funny stories they share with me.”

Foster says that seeing riders’ drive and determination each day encourages her to work harder and never give up.

Learning to ride public transit is one of the easiest and most affordable ways to get around your city, Foster says.

“Public transit is reliable, safe and informative. The operators and drivers are professional and help riders learn new or different locations around the city.”

 

In her spare time, Foster enjoys spending time with her three daughters, Kalina, Deja and Brianna, and says that her future at METRO is one of growth and wisdom.
